Your role
You design, operate, and maintain enterprise‑class virtualization platforms based on VMware and Nutanix technologies that support critical business services. You ensure high availability, performance, security, and resilience of Wintel and Windows‑based virtual environments used by large-scale infrastructures.
You act as a senior technical authority for virtualization services, supporting operations teams, resolving complex incidents, and advising internal stakeholders on platform improvements, stability, and disaster recovery readiness. You actively leverage automation and AI‑enabled platforms to optimize daily operational activities, reduce manual effort, and improve service efficiency. You take ownership of virtualization reliability and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure services.
Your tasks
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments supporting critical business services.
- Manage and support enterprise virtualization platforms based on VMware and Nutanix technologies.
- Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability to ensure stable and reliable infrastructure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents across Windows, virtualization layers.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, patching, and platform lifecycle management activities.
- Develop and utilize automation solutions to streamline operational tasks and improve service efficiency.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams to maintain service stability and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, security, and operational effectiveness.
Your profile
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.
- Strong practical experience with Windows Server administration and core Wintel infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, patching, and server hardening.
- Experience with Microsoft endpoint and systems management technologies, such as SCCM/MECM, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), or equivalent solutions.
- Good knowledge of enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS) and Nutanix environments.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, such as Veeam, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting technologies, such as PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
- Fluency in English and ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
