Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions. Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and responsive design across devices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to WordPress functionality and performance. Implement best practices for security, including regular updates and vulnerability assessments. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to enhance team capabilities. Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in WordPress and web development to continuously improve processes. Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a WordPress developer or in a similar role. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL related to WordPress development. Strong experience with WordPress CMS architecture, including custom post types, taxonomies, and hooks. Demonstrated ability to build responsive and user-friendly websites optimized for performance. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git, and collaborative development workflows. Knowledge of website security principles and best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
