Senior Workday Payroll Analyst

Barden is delighted to be working with a global technology company in Dublin as they look to hire a Senior Workday Payroll Analyst. This is a new permanent role, created as payroll moves into the People Systems function, giving you real ownership of how payroll runs in Workday.

You will be the go-to person for payroll set-up and integrations, working closely with People Systems, Payroll Operations, and Internal Audit.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Own the day-to-day configuration of Workday Payroll, from pay rules to earnings, deductions, and tax set-up.
• Build and maintain integrations with external payroll providers.
• Find the root cause of payroll issues, whether set-up, data, or vendor.
• Plan and support testing, including payroll parallel runs and Workday releases.
• Keep documentation, reports, and controls in good order with Internal Audit.
• Provide light support across wider finance systems.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• 2+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience, including payroll tax set-up.
• Experience with both payroll configuration and integrations, such as Core Connector, PECI, or EIB.
• Comfortable troubleshooting files and issues with external payroll providers.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication across HR, payroll, and audit teams.
• Industry or professional services background welcome.
• SOX and secure file transfer experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

OTHER DETAILS

• Permanent role based in Dublin, hybrid, with one to two days a week in the office.
