The Role: We are seeking a talented and driven Senior/Lead Python Engineer with expertise in AI/ML, video stream processing, and a strong foundation in data science, computational mathematics, or machine learning. You will play a key role in improving our eye movement event detection and calculations, contributing to the development of a groundbreaking diagnostic tool. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize Python-based algorithms for eye movement analysis. Implement AI/ML models for video stream processing and pupil tracking (e.g., YOLO). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance eye-tracking accuracy and performance. Work on improving detection algorithms for real-time, non-invasive concussion diagnostics. Analyze and process large datasets to refine event detection and calculation methods. Ensure seamless integration with the front-end application built using React and JS. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team. Requirements: Strong expertise in Python development, with a focus on AI/ML and video stream processing. Background in data science, computational mathematics, or machine learning. Experience with eye-tracking analysis or related technologies is highly desirable. Proficiency in YOLO or similar models for video and object tracking. Familiarity with C++ Windows App development and React/JS front-end frameworks. Proven ability to design and optimize complex algorithms for real-time applications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
