Senior/Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 5+ years of experience to help build, scale, and optimize the infrastructure and developer platforms that power our engineering teams.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of critical cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling, ensuring our engineers can build, test, and deploy software efficiently, securely, and reliably.

As a senior member of a rapidly evolving team, you’ll play a key role in driving technical decisions, establishing infrastructure best practices, and improving the overall developer experience. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, automate processes, and build scalable solutions that support Cyberhaven's continued growth.

What You'll Do

• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Terraform to enable reliable, automated, and efficient software delivery.

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and managed cloud services.

• Drive improvements in developer productivity by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks across build, test, deployment, and release processes.

• Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and performance through automation, monitoring, and proactive optimization.

• Take ownership of infrastructure challenges, troubleshoot complex production and development environment issues, and implement long-term solutions.

• Establish and promote infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, and cloud-native engineering best practices.

• Partner closely with software engineers to understand developer pain points and deliver scalable self-service infrastructure and tooling.

• Define and track key metrics around deployment efficiency, build times, infrastructure reliability, and developer experience.

• Contribute to technical architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and help establish engineering standards and documentation.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Developer Experience.

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing production-grade infrastructure on GCP (preferred) or another major cloud platform.

• Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and containerized environments.

• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar technologies.

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, cloud-native architecture, and deployment automation.

• Experience improving developer workflows, reducing deployment friction, and optimizing build and release processes.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD systems.

• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash to develop automation and internal tooling.

• Experience with monitoring, observability, cloud security, and infrastructure performance optimization.

• A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to independently drive infrastructure initiatives from design through implementation.

• A collaborative, proactive engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and enabling other engineering teams to move faster.
