Job Description
We are seeking a talented SEO Specialist to join our team. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing the client's website to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. This candidate will be responsible for supporting organic search efforts. Some of these responsibilities will be monitoring rankings, working closely with the marketing department on strategy, technical execution of SEO campaigns, content production or outsourcing, and a variety of other related tasks.
This is a remote role & applicants will need to be based in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be contracted with Crafty Simon Inc., our Philippine-based entity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Proven expertise in on-page SEO, including content planning, structuring, and optimization
- Familiarity with technical SEO, performance audits, and structured data
- Strong knowledge of WordPress and theme builders (Elementor, Flatsome, Kadence, etc.)
- Experience working with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and GSC
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams
Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, and landing pages that align with our content strategy and keyword plan
- Plan and execute end-to-end SEO strategies for projects
- Build and manage WordPress websites using popular theme builders such as Elementor, Flatsome, etc.
- Design and structure landing pages with strong on-page SEO and optimized media
- Implement and maintain technical SEO elements (e.g., Schema, NAP, EEAT, OG metadata)
- Conduct SEO audits using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console
- Ensure content quality by managing internal linking, keyword targeting, and proper page structure
- Collaborate with external vendors for off-page SEO (e.g., link building and guest posting)
Ensure consistent updates to sitemaps, indexing health, and site performance
