What you'll do
The Regional SEO & AEO Manager, LATAM, will own the regional organic growth strategy and execution for Docusign for Brazil. This role combines technical SEO, international SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), AI-search optimization, content strategy, hands-on content creation, and editorial leadership. You will translate global SEO and AEO priorities into locally relevant plans for eSignature and CLM/IAM, identify market-specific search opportunities, create and optimize high-quality content, and partner with Web, Product, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, Legal, and localization teams to deliver measurable growth. The ideal candidate is a strong operator and editor who can move from market research and keyword insights to content briefs, first drafts, technical requirements, launch reviews, and performance optimization. They should be comfortable using AI agents to accelerate content research, production, optimization, and monitoring while applying rigorous human editorial judgment to every output.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Global Director of SEO and AEO.
Responsibility
- Build and execute the Brazil SEO/AEO roadmap across audiences, industries, and use cases
- Work closely with the local regional marketing team to understand the priorities of the local business
- Translate global priorities into locally relevant plans for eSignature and CLM/IAM
- Identify search, content, competitor, customer, sales, and performance opportunities using quantitative and qualitative insights
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value, effort, dependencies, and regional readiness
- Define regional AEO and AI-search strategies for conversational search, AI Overviews, LLM-powered experiences, and answer engines
- Optimize content and experiences to answer high-value customer questions clearly, accurately, and authoritatively in local-market context
- Own the LATAM organic content calendar and production pipeline
- Create, commission, edit, and optimize landing pages, product pages, use-case pages, industry content, blogs, guides, FAQs, comparison content, and interactive experiences
- Write hands-on in Portuguese when appropriate, including briefs, outlines, page copy, FAQs, metadata, internal-linking recommendations, and AEO answers
- Establish and enforce editorial standards for clarity, accuracy, tone, localization, inclusivity, terminology, source quality, and brand alignment
- Review agency, partner, and AI-generated content and provide precise, actionable feedback
- Partner with Product Marketing, Content, subject-matter experts, Legal, Compliance, and localization teams to ensure regional accuracy and relevance
- Manage content production workflows, agencies, freelancers, and localization partners as needed
- Use AI agents to accelerate keyword research, topic clustering, competitor analysis, content briefs, content drafting, content refreshes, internal-link recommendations, SERP/AEO analysis, and performance monitoring
- Design repeatable human-in-the-loop workflows that combine agent speed with expert editorial review
- Create quality guardrails for factual accuracy, originality, citations, localization, brand voice, legal claims, and publication readiness
- Identify opportunities to automate content gap detection, recommendations, reporting, and recurring SEO/AEO QA
- Test emerging AI-search protocols, structured content formats, and agentic workflows and translate learnings into regional playbooks
- Conduct technical SEO audits across LATAM sites and localized experiences, identifying issues affecting crawlability, indexability, architecture, rendering, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and conversion
- Partner with Global Technical SEO, Engineering, WebOps, Product, and Platform teams on sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, robots directives, hreflang, structured data, templates, and CMS guardrails
- Maintain strong international SEO foundations across Portuguese- and Spanish-language experiences, including language/region targeting and localized URL architecture
- Review new and updated pages for SEO, AEO, localization, accessibility, performance, and conversion quality before and after launch
- Create clear Jira requirements, acceptance criteria, QA plans, and launch documentation for technical SEO workstreams
- Define and track regional KPIs for visibility, rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, pipeline influence, citations, AI-answer presence, and intent coverage
- Monitor performance by country, language, product, topic, funnel stage, and page type
- Build recurring reporting and communicate insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to regional and global stakeholders
- Diagnose performance changes and lead content refreshes, consolidation, testing, and technical remediation
- Partner with Analytics and Data teams to improve attribution, tagging, dashboards, and connections between SEO/AEO performance and PLG outcomes
- Represent LATAM SEO/AEO in Global SEO, PLG, Marketing, Product Marketing, Web, Analytics, Engineering, and regional planning forums
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority and align teams around priorities, trade-offs, and timelines
- Train regional partners and internal stakeholders on SEO, AEO, editorial quality, and AI-assisted content practices
- Maintain regional playbooks, standards, content calendars, QA checklists, and documentation
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, content SEO, AEO, organic growth, or performance marketing, with meaningful hands-on technical SEO and content experience
- Fluent Portuguese
- Working English proficiency for collaboration with global teams and stakeholders
- Experience building and executing regional or international SEO/AEO strategies
- Experience with hands-on content creation, writing, editing, proofreading, and editorial judgment
- Experience creating content with AI agents and improving agent-generated outputs through structured human review
- Experience with content strategy, search intent, topic modeling, keyword research, content briefs, internal linking, metadata, and content quality
- Experience with technical SEO fundamentals, including site architecture, HTTP status codes, canonicalization, duplicate content, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, indexing controls, JavaScript rendering, hreflang, structured data, and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with AEO and AI-driven search experiences, including LLMs, AI Overviews, answer engines, and conversational search
- Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush or similar, Screaming Frog or similar crawlers, BI/reporting tools, Jira, and headless CMS' such as Contentful
- Experience turning data and market insight into clear priorities, compelling content, and measurable recommendations
Preferred
- Spanish fluency
- Experience in B2B SaaS, eSignature, CLM, legal technology, or product-led growth
- Experience across Brazil and additional LATAM markets
- Spanish-language content production or experience managing Spanish localization partners
- Experience with schema markup, log-file analysis, experimentation, or digital PR
- Experience building content or SEO workflows with AI agents, APIs, automation, or MCP-connected tools
