Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable SEO Assistant to support our Digital Strategy Director. In this role, you will work on SEO optimization and execute action items based on audits completed. You will be responsible for various tasks surrounding On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Technical SEO.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, and Keywords Everywhere.
- Implement On-Page SEO strategies including meta tags, headers, URL structure, and content optimization.
- Execute Off-Page SEO tactics such as link building and outreach.
- Perform Technical SEO audits and action items, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and crawl errors.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are applied to all web content.
- Provide regular reports on SEO performance and suggest improvements.
- Manage tasks and projects using ClickUp.
- Utilize Screaming Frog for in-depth site audits and analysis.
- Identify and resolve issues independently, without waiting to be assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SEO tools, especially Ahrefs.
- Familiarity with Ubersuggest, Keywords Everywhere, and Sitebulb.
- Strong understanding of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with ClickUp or similar task management tools is a plus.
