We're currently looking for a SERVICE PARTS ENGINEERING TEAM LEADER (H/M) to join our EMEA team to be responsible for leading the technical engineering function for the EMEA Spare Parts business. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and continuous evolution of spare parts master data, engineering documentation, catalogue structures, repair solutions, and obsolescence management processes
Key responsibilities
Lead the EMEA Service Parts Engineering team responsible for technical support, data governance, and parts lifecycle management.
Work closely with global engineering team, Field team to maintain Otis Spare Parts Leaflet, Ensure engineering changes are effectively translated into service parts requirements and downstream systems. Explore the solution of Non-Otis Spare Parts Leaflet creation
Own governance, accuracy, and maintenance of service parts master data across all EMEA operations.
Establish and control processes for new part number creation, modification, and retirement.
Collaborate with global engineering teams and supply chains to establish long-term parts availability strategies.
Be part of technical replacement development , retrofit, and alternative solutions for obsolete parts.
Monitor product lifecycle changes and proactively manage service parts impacts.
Lead implementation of engineering-related transformation initiatives supporting the Spare Parts Centre strategy
Role specific skills & competences
Degree in Engineering .
Proficient in both writing and oral English. Other european languages would be a plus.
15 years of proven experience in a similar position.
Knowledge and insight in service operations, elevator components. Strong change management skills, dynamically operating in a fast moving environment. Ability to look ahead, and anticipate/assess the system-wide impact & consequence of specific adjustments to the manufacturing/operations network.
Skilled at leading strategy & innovation with a forward-looking proactive orientation. bringing Imagination (new & fresh thinking) to the extended team. Ability to formulate a strategic plan aligned to business requirements ensuring sustained competitiveness.
Learning mindset, continually open to new developments and curious about meta-trends and their impact. Resilient in tackling challenges, dealing with problems and addressing issues.
Demonstrated success as change agent and advocate for change
Strong team developer, with excellent collaboration skills. Passionate about establishing a culture of belonging; a visible champion of this work.
Availability to travel 50% of the time.
Preferably based in Vigo, Madrid or Paris
