Key Responsibilities At our customers’ sites, you’ll check Primion hardware that has already been installed (e.g., time-and-attendance terminals, ID card readers, and digital lock cylinders) for functionality, quality, and proper installation. You will identify and correct installation errors and ensure that all components work together optimally. You will configure the hardware components digitally on your laptop. After a successful inspection, you will independently commission access control, time-and-attendance, and security systems. In some cases, you will install hardware components yourself and integrate them into the existing IT and network infrastructure. You conduct acceptance tests and oversee the handover of the systems to the customer. You take on a coordinating role at the construction site and coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and the customer. You create detailed technical documentation of the installed systems - which you’re welcome to do flexibly from home. When necessary, you will analyze malfunctions and replace defective hardware components. Occasionally, you will visit our branch office for project coordination and team meetings. Key Qualifications Completed technical training, e.g., as an electronics technician (m/f/d) specializing in information and telecommunications technology or as an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d). Further training to become a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or master technician (m/f/d) is desirable Hardware and software knowledge in the field of networking, as well as general digital literacy Business-level proficiency in German and good written and spoken English Class B or 3 driver’s license Willingness to travel flexibly as part of field service Independent and conscientious work ethic Results-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills Professional demeanor and strong communication skills when interacting with customers Your Benefits What makes working for us special?
