We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a ServiceNow platform within an international project environment.

The role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, particularly within IT Service Management. IT Operations Management and IT Asset Management are also relevant, while knowledge of HR Service Delivery will be considered an advantage.

The position can be performed fully remotely from Portugal, although a hybrid working arrangement is preferred. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable and scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Deliver enhancements and new functionality across ITSM processes.
• Translate functional and business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Configure and customise workflows, forms, Flow Designer flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts and Script Includes.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Contribute to ITOM and ITAM-related platform requirements.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Participate in testing, deployment and post-production validation activities.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and follow platform development standards.
• Collaborate with administrators, process owners, business stakeholders and other technical teams.
• Contribute to the platform’s maintainability, reliability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions in ServiceNow.
• Solid practical experience with ServiceNow ITSM, including the development or customisation of IT service management processes.
• Professional experience using JavaScript within ServiceNow.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes and other ServiceNow components.
• Experience developing or maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Understanding of APIs, platform security and access controls.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM or ITAM is highly valued.
• Knowledge of HRSD is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a remote and international environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Availability to work full-time from Portugal.
• Availability for a hybrid working model is preferred but not mandatory.
