ServiceNow developer

We are looking for an experienced Dutch-speaking Freelance Senior ServiceNow Developer for our client within the public sector, who is undergoing an IT infrastructure transformation and automation programme

The assignment will focus primarily on ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM and Asset & Configuration Management, supporting the development and automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with a particular focus on CMDB, CSDM and Asset & Configuration Management.
• Your work will play a key role in automating infrastructure provisioning processes, ensuring infrastructure configuration data is accurately maintained within ServiceNow.
• Working closely with ServiceNow Business Consultants and infrastructure teams, you will translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Using functional specifications and design documentation, you will develop and implement ServiceNow components, workflows and automation solutions.
• You will ensure developed solutions are appropriately documented, tested and integrated into the existing ServiceNow environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions, primarily focusing on CMDB, CSDM and Asset & Configuration Management.
• Design, develop and implement technical solutions supporting infrastructure automation and provisioning.
• Develop and customise ServiceNow workflows, catalogue items and request fulfilment processes.
• Implement advanced scripting and automation to support the provisioning of cloud and data centre infrastructure.
• Develop solutions that enable automatic updates to the CMDB following infrastructure provisioning and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow Business Consultants to translate functional designs into technical implementations.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure ServiceNow solutions support the management of servers, virtual machines, operating systems, clusters and other infrastructure components.
• Develop, configure and customise the ServiceNow platform to meet technical and business requirements.
• Ensure developed solutions follow ServiceNow best practices and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Support technical testing, troubleshooting and integration of developed solutions.
• Document technical configurations, development activities and application functionality.

Technical Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Technical Consultant.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Strong ServiceNow development, configuration and scripting capabilities.
• Experience developing ServiceNow workflows, catalogue items and request fulfilment processes.
• Understanding of infrastructure automation and automated provisioning.
• Good knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines, operating systems and data centre environments.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with infrastructure management and automation solutions.

Language requirements and Location :

• Dutch
• Hybrid Working, 2 days a week on site - Utrecht / Amsterdam.
• 12 month contract + extension
