Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM Platform Architect with strong expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), platform architecture, and enterprise ServiceNow solutions.

The ideal candidate should have experience designing scalable ServiceNow solutions, integrating ITAM and ITOM capabilities, and guiding technical implementations across enterprise environments.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect ServiceNow ITAM and ITOM solutions based on business and technical requirements.
  

• Define platform architecture, technical design, and implementation approaches for ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM modules.
  

• Guide the configuration and implementation of IT Asset Management and IT Operations Management capabilities.
  

• Design and optimize Configuration Management Database (CMDB) structures and related processes.
  

• Support ServiceNow Discovery, infrastructure visibility, and configuration management capabilities.
  

• Provide architectural guidance for hardware and software asset management integrations.
  

• Define integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise infrastructure, monitoring, and asset management systems.
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand IT operations and asset lifecycle requirements.
  

• Translate functional requirements into scalable ServiceNow platform solutions.
  

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow developers and implementation teams.
  

• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with ServiceNow architecture and development best practices.
  

• Troubleshoot complex technical, integration, and configuration issues.
  

• Support testing, deployment, platform enhancements, and post-implementation activities.
  

• Maintain solution architecture documents, technical specifications, and implementation records.
  

• Identify opportunities for platform optimization, workflow automation, and operational improvement.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of total professional experience, including 3+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM.
  

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, solution design, and implementation.
  

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
  

• Understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and IT operations processes.
  

• Experience designing and implementing ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM solutions.
  

• Knowledge of ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related data management practices.
  

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and infrastructure configuration management.
  

• Understanding of ServiceNow integrations with external enterprise applications.
  

• Ability to design scalable technical solutions and integration architectures.
  

• Experience translating business requirements into solution designs and technical specifications.
  

• Ability to guide development teams and review technical implementation approaches.
  

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
  

• Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Mapping and Event Management.
  

• Familiarity with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server, and REST APIs.
  

• Understanding of CMDB governance and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  

• Experience with workflow automation and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
  

• Exposure to large-scale ServiceNow platform implementations.
  

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management principles.
