ServiceNow Lead Integration Architect

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for a ServiceNow Lead Integration Architect to own the end-to-end strategy, technical design, and architectural governance for integrating complex enterprise platforms into ServiceNow.

In this role, you will bridge ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, and Event Management by designing scalable ingestion pipelines across monitoring, asset management, and discovery ecosystems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Integration Strategy & Design: Lead architecture for enterprise integrations into ServiceNow using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, Import Sets, MID Server patterns, and event pipelines.
• Data Ingestion & CSDM Governance: Establish source-of-truth principles, target CI data models, transform logic, and Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules to maintain high data quality and eliminate duplicates.
• Platform Security & Access: Design secure authentication methods, credential handling, and access boundary models—including domain separation and ACL structures where applicable.
• Development Guidance: Set architectural standards and guide developers on error handling, retry logic, logging, payload mapping, and performance tuning.
• Cross-Functional Ownership: Drive offshore integration delivery while collaborating seamlessly with onshore architects, platform owners, and infrastructure leads.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• EU Citizenship OR 7+ years of residency within the EU (Mandatory).
• Architectural Mastery: Deep experience architecting ServiceNow integrations with systems like Splunk, Zabbix, Flexera, SCCM, NetBox, Datadog, Active Directory, vCenter, or Azure.
• Core ServiceNow Expertise: Advanced understanding of CMDB, CSDM framework, ITOM, Event Management, and CI lifecycle workflows.
• Integration Security & Operations: Proven experience in credential management, error recovery mechanisms, observability, and high-volume batch handling.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Telecom, Utilities, OT (Operational Technology) networks, or Critical Infrastructure.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-CMDB, CIS-ITSM, or IntegrationHub).
• Hands-on experience with domain separation and advanced ACL architecture.
