Regulated financial services environments demand precision and resilience in every transformation. The ServiceNow Programme Lead role in London operates in a hybrid model, where the stakes are set by operational risk and compliance pressures. When the margin for error is narrow, the ability to navigate complex requirements and evolving standards becomes essential. If you thrive in settings where accountability is measured in outcomes, this role places you at the centre of change. Financial institutions depend on trusted delivery to meet regulatory and business expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex ServiceNow programmes for financial services clients across multiple workstreams, modules and locations, owning scope, timeline, budget, quality and risk
- Act as the trusted senior contact for client stakeholders, up to CIO, COO and executive level and run programme governance, including steering committees and status reporting
- Turn client business goals, such as service resilience, regulatory compliance and operating model transformation, into a clear programme roadmap, working with architects to shape solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, IRM and the wider Now Platform
- Deliver solutions that support regulatory and risk requirements such as DORA, operational resilience, third-party risk management and audit readiness, particularly through IRM and SecOps
- Mobilise and lead blended onshore and nearshore delivery teams, including programme managers, architects, developers and business analysts, in line with client security and data-handling standards
- Manage programme financials, including forecasting, margin, change control and commercial discussions with the client
- Identify and shape opportunities to expand the engagement, working with Sales, Practice leadership and ServiceNow account teams
- Champion delivery best practice, ServiceNow standards and continuous improvement across the practice
- Mentor programme and project managers and help grow EPAM’s ServiceNow capability in the UK
Requirements
- Significant experience leading large-scale ServiceNow programmes end to end, ideally within a consultancy, systems integrator or ServiceNow partner
- Experience delivering in financial services or another regulated environment, with an understanding of regulatory, risk and control expectations
- Strong working knowledge of the Now Platform and several core products, such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM or IRM
- A track record of managing multi-million-pound programmes, including budgets, margin and commercial change
- Confidence engaging and influencing senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Experience leading distributed, multi-disciplinary teams across onshore and nearshore locations
- A solid grounding in programme governance and delivery methods, including Agile, hybrid and waterfall approaches
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to work hybrid from London, with client travel as needed
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DORA, FCA/PRA operational resilience requirements or similar frameworks
- Experience with ServiceNow IRM, GRC or Third-Party Risk Management in a bank or insurer
We offer
- EPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
- Protection benefits including life assurance, income protection and critical illness cover
- Private medical insurance and dental care
- Employee Assistance Program
- Competitive group pension plan
- Cyclescheme, Techscheme and season ticket loans
- Various perks such as free Wednesday lunch in-office, on-site massages and regular social events
- Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses
- If otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program
- If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program
