Job Summary B&A is looking for a Software ServiceNow Developer to join a contract in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to assist as technical advisory on the architecture, data flows, and requirements for the integration. The client has recently implemented SAP S/4HANA as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform and SAP Ariba as its procurement solution. While both systems are operational, they remain in the stabilization phase following implementation. The organization has an established ServiceNow environment supporting IT service management; however, there are opportunities to further optimize and expand its capabilities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. Responsibilities Technical advisory Data flows Requirements for the integration Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 15 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years specializing in ServiceNow, including significant hands-on experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules (HAM, SAM, or SaaS). Required Skills Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITAM modules, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Asset Lifecycle Management. Strong experience with CMDB design, asset data normalization, reconciliation, and discovery tools. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC) to support asset data ingestion from external systems (e.g., procurement, SCCM, cloud platforms). Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development frameworks. Experience with software license management, compliance tracking, and audit support. Strong understanding of ITIL practices, particularly as they relate to asset and configuration management. Experience building dashboards, reports, and performance analytics focused on asset utilization, compliance, and cost optimization. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
