Company Description SFTA – Swiss Finance+Technology Association brings together leaders in finance and technology to build trusted connections and shape the future of finance across Switzerland and Europe. The association acts as a neutral platform, balancing the interests of startups, investors, industry, and government stakeholders. SFTA connects the Swiss finance and technology ecosystem with leading global centers, creating visibility and access to international networks. It provides meaningful information and content, including directories and reports, to support informed decision-making. SFTA also advocates for a supportive business, regulatory, and innovation environment to strengthen Switzerland as a financial center and grow the broader ecosystem.
Role Description The SFTA University Ambassador is a volunteer, remote role focused on representing SFTA within a university community and supporting its visibility among students, researchers, and academic partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include promoting SFTA events and initiatives on campus and online, sharing relevant information about fintech, innovation, and SFTA activities with student and faculty networks, and encouraging participation in SFTA programs, workshops, or webinars. The ambassador will help identify collaboration opportunities between SFTA and university departments, student clubs, and innovation hubs, and may support the organization or coordination of joint events. The role also involves providing feedback on university needs, trends in student interests, and potential improvements in SFTA’s engagement with academic institutions.

- Strong interest in finance, technology, and innovation, with motivation to help grow the Swiss and European fintech ecosystem.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly present information and engage diverse stakeholders (students, faculty, and external partners).
- Proactive networking and relationship-building abilities within the university environment (student organizations, academic departments, innovation centers).
- Organizational and coordination skills to support promotion and logistics of events, webinars, or joint initiatives.
- Comfort with digital tools and social media platforms to share SFTA content and maintain an active presence online.
- Self-directed and reliable, able to manage responsibilities remotely and collaborate effectively with SFTA team members.
- Current enrollment at a university or strong links to academic communities; prior involvement in student associations or campus initiatives is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional Swiss national languages (German, French, Italian) are beneficial.
