Your Role
As a
Shopify Backend & SEO Specialist, you will:
- Support the development and execution of brand and marketing campaigns in line with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Assist with national promotions, marketing communications, catalogue campaigns, sponsorships, and retail events.
- Coordinate Local Area Marketing (LAM) activities and ensure alignment with broader national campaigns.
- Support campaign planning, media coordination, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and ROI and provide insights for improvement.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, media agencies, and external service providers to ensure effective campaign execution.
- Manage multiple marketing projects and deadlines while maintaining brand consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and contribute to overall marketing initiatives.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, Local Area Marketing, franchise, or multi-location environments.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing and executing marketing communication campaigns.
- Strong understanding of brand management, retail marketing, and digital marketing.
- Experience managing campaign budgets and measuring KPIs, ROI, and business impact.
- Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Experience with Local Area Marketing (LAM) and integrated national/local campaigns.
- Exposure to media planning and buying.
- Experience managing external agencies, media partners, and service providers.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Data-driven approach to campaign planning and performance measurement.
- Proven ability to take ownership of marketing outcomes and drive sales.
