Short-Form Video Editor Location: Remote Employment type: Full-time About the role GAMURS Group is looking for a creative and driven Video Editor to produce engaging short-form content across our network of entertainment, gaming and viral social media pages. You’ll edit videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, while also using AI tools to help generate original footage and develop new content formats. The role combines traditional video editing with fast-moving AI workflows, giving you the opportunity to experiment with new tools and help shape our broader video strategy. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes social content engaging, can work quickly without sacrificing quality, and is willing to test and improve ideas based on performance. Responsibilities Edit short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Use AI video and image-generation tools to create original footage from supplied ideas and concepts. Turn raw footage, images and AI generations into polished social videos. Improve pacing, framing, transitions and continuity across generated clips. Add captions, music, sound effects, voiceovers and motion graphics where required. Develop new video ideas and repeatable formats across entertainment, gaming, animals, human-interest and viral content. Create multiple variations of promising concepts for testing. Adapt successful formats across different pages and audiences. Follow relevant trends, stories and platform developments. Maintain a tracker of ideas, completed videos, publishing destinations and performance. Review results and use performance data to improve future content. Collaborate with our Head of Video and wider social media team to meet production targets. Requirements Strong video-editing skills using Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar software. Experience creating short-form content for major social platforms. A strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention and social-first storytelling. Good visual judgment and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently across multiple videos and deadlines. Comfortable testing new tools, workflows and creative approaches. Reliable, organised and receptive to feedback. Strong written English and communication skills. An interest in entertainment, gaming, internet culture or viral content. Desirable experience Experience with AI video or image tools such as Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, Veo, Seedance or similar platforms. Experience with AI prompting and image-to-video workflows. Motion graphics, After Effects or sound-design skills. Experience producing content for large social media pages. Experience using analytics to improve video performance. Familiarity with platform monetisation and content-originality requirements. What success looks like Consistently producing polished, engaging videos on schedule. Developing original formats that can scale across our page network. Using AI tools effectively without relying on unedited generations. Improving concepts through testing and iteration.
