WeScale Media is the in-house content engine behind WeScale, the company teaching everyday entrepreneurs how to build real, branded Print-on-Demand businesses on Shopify. Our mission is to become the most-watched, most-trusted brand in the Print-on-Demand and online business space. We produce high-performance long-form video, short-form social, and podcast content that reaches people deciding whether to bet on themselves. Our content is not vanity media. It is designed to drive measurable reach, deepen trust, and create downstream business impact across the entire WeScale ecosystem. We operate like a studio, not a startup content team. That means structured workflows, batch production, clear performance metrics, and an aggressive commitment to innovation, especially through AI-native production systems. We are building a repeatable content machine that compounds: more output, higher quality, faster iteration, stronger monetization, and deeper brand equity over time. If you are joining WeScale Media, you are not here to just make content. You are here to help build a media powerhouse. The Role The Short-Form Editor is the volume engine of WeScale Media. You cut our long-form into platform-native Reels, Shorts, and TikToks across both founders' brands, Meg and Chris. This role owns: High-volume short-form output, every day, across both brands Hooks and retention editing that earn watch-through and loops Platform-native formatting so every clip feels at home on its feed Fast turnaround on editorial direction from the Social Media Producer You are not just trimming clips. You live in the first second. If the hook does not land, nothing else matters. Your job is to make people stop, watch, and stay. This role requires both speed and instinct. High volume is the baseline. Strong hooks are non-negotiable. You work fast, you work always-on, and you take direction without losing the bar. What You'll Own High-Volume Short-Form Production Produce a high volume of short-form clips every day across both founders' brands Cut long-form video into Reels, Shorts, and TikToks at the pace both channels demand Keep the pipeline always-on so neither brand goes dark Maintain consistent quality even at high output Hooks & Retention Editing Build the first second to stop the scroll. The hook is the whole game Edit for watch-through, replays, and loops, not just a clean cut Cut filler, tighten pacing, and keep every second earning attention Design endings that loop or push the next watch Platform-Native Formatting Format every clip native to its platform: captions, aspect ratios, safe zones Use sound and trends correctly so clips read as built for the feed, not reposted Match each platform's specs and conventions for pixel-perfect delivery Keep captions readable, on-brand, and timed to the cut Editorial Direction & Fast Turnaround Take editorial direction from the Social Media Producer and execute it fast Turn feedback into revisions quickly without re-litigating the brief Communicate clearly on status so the producer always knows what is shipping Hit deadlines that keep both channels publishing on schedule Templates & Asset Library Work within established templates to keep output fast and consistent Pull from and contribute to a shared asset library of clips, captions, and motifs Keep files organized, tagged, and version-controlled for fast reuse Help the system stay always-on by building reusable, not one-off, work What We're Looking For 2+ years editing short-form for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts Expert in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro A portfolio of high-performing or viral clips, with the numbers behind them Deep platform fluency across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube short-form Very fast, high-volume output without quality drop Strong pacing instincts and a sharp eye for what makes a hook land An AI-forward editor who uses AI to speed up the work wherever it helps Comfortable working within templates and a shared asset library Ability to take direction and turn it around fast Bonus: experience in e-commerce, creator, or education content What Success Looks Like Daily short-form output ships across both founders' brands Clips hold attention and earn high view-through Recurring viral hits, not just one-offs Turnaround is fast enough that both channels stay always-on Our Values Our core values are the heart and soul of this company.
