Site Reliability Engineer - FinTech SaaS - $160K+ Super

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Sydney CBD - (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days WFH)

They build enterprise software platforms that help financial institutions deliver high-quality, highly secure, and accessible data driven advice at scale. Driven by innovation, collaboration, and continuous engineering improvement, the team combines digital intelligence with a human touch to transform how advice is delivered globally.

This is a team of 2x SRE's, reporting to a Head of Platform Security.

Ideal Technology Experience:

• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): Experience building, operating, and hardening AWS cloud platform services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB).
• Automation & IaC: Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Serverless) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go) to automate operational tasks.
• Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on with containerisation, Docker and container management platforms (e.g., ECS or Kubernetes).
• Observability & Incident Management: Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g. Raygun, CloudWatch), along with handling production incidents and participating in follow-the-sun on-call rotations (things don't break often at all)
• CI/CD & Delivery: Working knowledge of automated deployment platforms (such as Octopus Deploy) and CI/CD pipeline management across varied stacks.
