About the Role
Passionate about building resilient systems and keeping critical services running smoothly?
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to support system reliability, cloud infrastructure, and operational efficiency. You will work on automation, observability, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation while collaborating with development teams to maintain stable and reliable services.
Responsibilities
Execute SRE projects and operational processes independently, resolving issues and escalating complex challenges when necessary.
Assess operational requirements and develop technical solutions within existing frameworks.
Automate operational workflows and incident response using scripts and tools.
Implement observability solutions to collect, analyse, and visualise metrics, logs, and traces.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux/Unix systems, network components, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
Improve system availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and scalability.
Support CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and orchestration to improve software delivery.
Monitor application reliability signals, identify risks, and implement preventive improvements.
Track resource utilisation, plan capacity, and optimise system performance.
Apply incident, problem, and change management practices to support reliable service delivery.
Participate in technical reviews and quality assurance activities to maintain system stability.
Contribute to developing new solutions and managing smaller technical initiatives.
Maintain documentation, share knowledge, and promote operational best practices.
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to align reliability solutions with technical and business requirements.
Qualifications
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to implement observability solutions using metrics, logs, traces, and relevant tools.
Programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux/Unix systems and network components, with knowledge of networking protocols and security.
Experience deploying and managing applications and infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of reliability, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and scalability.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and orchestration.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across systems, applications, and networks.
Understanding of capacity planning, resource utilisation, and performance optimisation.
Knowledge of IT service management, including incident, problem, and change management.
Ability to work independently on routine and moderately complex tasks, applying established practices and seeking guidance when facing unfamiliar or highly complex challenges.
