SLEAFORD - Fast Food Courier

Couriers are required, who have access to their own vehicle with business insurance, for the purposes of ordering, purchasing, collecting, delivering and completing orders on behalf of customers.

The Brand never employ a courier directly, and couriers are self-employed at all times neither employed directly or indirectly by The Brand or any associates of The Brand.

The role is purely based on completed orders per shift, less any deductions necessary as per the obligations agreement (see attached).

The obligations agreement gives a full list of tasks, duties, pay, and penalties, and is there as a form of contract, signed when the courier has completed their first order.

The courier must be confident in ordering food, ensuring the orders are correct, paying for and completing orders with customer satisfaction the ultimate goal at any point.

The courier is required to have their own vehicle with business insurance.

Business insurance should include the option of carrying food.

Business insurance within the food sector can be difficult to obtain.

As a company The Brand are not authorized or regulated to recommend any insurer.

The courier is required to order food, purchasing it and then submitting the receipt as an invoice.

This receipt is processed, and payment reimbursed back to the courier immediately.

The only pay ever outstanding to a courier by end of shift is the couriers wages which are due by midnight if on 50% cash payout.

The courier will be required to have a mobile device and charger in order to be in touch with office at all times and to receive, update and maintain orders within a timely manner,and The Brand will supply the apps and tools in order to do so.

The courier will be required to have their own heat bags which can be purchased at any point from acceptable sources.

The courier will be required to pre-notify of required shifts, and pre-notify of any accepted shifts that they cannot do.

Couriers will benefit from learning about in store special offers which could apply to them directly or indirectly. There is often cheaper food available, and sometimes there are wrong orders in which the courier is compensated for and is given the food as it would be marked wastage.

Other times the food may have to be returned to a store first, so always check before consuming any goods.

Always check with office before consuming or cancelling any order, before committing to rerunning an order because of errors, or any change of any current list of orders as this could delay other customers and office would need to let other customers know to keep them in the loop.

The courier is their own boss, no contract to sign as such, and as long as the agreement is adhered to there are no repercussions for The Brand or the courier.
