SLED Field Sales Manager

Job Description:

Why You'll Love This Role

Innovation happens when the right people, ideas, and technology come together. At Arrow, our Sales teams connect customers with the expertise, solutions, and global capabilities they need to move faster, solve complex challenges, and stay ahead of what's next.

Working across functions and technologies, you'll build lasting partnerships, deliver value beyond products, and help customers transform ideas into real-world solutions while growing your own career in a global technology organization.

Role Overview

As the Field Sales Manager (Channel), this position owns channel partner strategy and go-to-market execution for the entire SLED Field CM team to grow Arrow and immixGroup’s presence across the State, Local, and Education market. The role manages the SLED Field CM team, works closely with funded headcounts across the organization, and connects channel partners, supplier leadership, distributor leadership, field sales, contracts, marketing, and business development to align priorities, activate partners, and drive measurable growth.

What You'll Be Doing

SLED Revenue Growth and Profitability

  • Own channel performance for the SLED Field CM team by driving revenue growth, profitability, partner engagement, pipeline health, opportunity support, and field execution accountability.
  • Expand relationships across the SLED channel partner and supplier community, prioritizing partners with strong SLED practices, contract access, regional influence, and growth potential.
  • Establish an operating rhythm of channel partner alignment meetings, Field CM team cadence calls, QBRs, and pipeline reviews to improve forecasting accuracy, execution, and accountability.

Demand Creation and Channel Strategy

  • Partner with Field Sales Manager (Supplier) and dedicated supplier managers to build channel-specific SLED business and marketing plans with clear target segments, priority partners, contract positioning, KPIs, and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the SLED Field CM team, funded headcounts, supplier teams, distributor leaders, Arrow and immixGroup functions, market intelligence, contracts, business development, and marketing to deliver enablement, partner support, and go-to-market execution.
  • Translate channel partner priorities into SLED programs such as partner roadshows, executive roundtables, webinars, market intelligence campaigns, account mapping, contract education, and field enablement.

Channel Partner, Supplier, Distributor, and Market Engagement

  • Serve as the SLED channel strategy lead for the Field CM team, aligning channel partner stakeholders, Field Sales Manager (Supplier), supplier leadership, distributor leadership, and internal Arrow and immixGroup teams around priorities and execution.
  • Lead recurring channel partner and distributor cadence meetings, including strategy sessions, Field CM operating reviews, QBRs, pipeline discussions, and event planning.
  • Attend channel partner events, supplier engagements, distributor leadership meetings, partner visits, trade shows, and SLED market activities to represent Arrow and immixGroup, identify whitespace opportunities, and deepen strategic relationships.
  • Advocate for channel partner priorities within Arrow and immixGroup while ensuring strategies align to supplier strategy, SLED market realities, partner readiness, contract access, field execution, and measurable growth outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience with an advanced degree, or equivalent experience in channel sales, partner development, public sector distribution, Field CM leadership, strategic alliances, business development, SLED contracts, or technology go-to-market planning.
  • Strong understanding of the SLED market, including state and local government, education, public healthcare, procurement cycles, contract vehicles, partner ecosystems, and public sector sales motions.
  • Experience building channel or partner strategies, leading cross-functional execution, managing executive relationships, and translating market priorities into measurable growth plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with channel partner leaders, supplier leaders, distributor executives, Field CM team members, internal sales teams, and cross-functional business partners.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% for channel partner meetings, supplier engagements, distributor leadership engagements, partner visits, QBRs, trade shows, and SLED-focused events.

Due to contractual requirements with the federal government, viable candidates must be US citizens
