Job Description

About the Clien

At Daybreak, we’re transforming how sleep apnea is diagnosed and treated by bringing the entire process into the comfort of our patients’ homes. Through our FDA-cleared oral appliance technology and convenient at-home sleep testing experience, we’re making effective sleep apnea care more accessible. We’re a mission-driven team focused on improving lives through better sleep. Every patient we help move forward brings us one step closer to making quality sleep care more accessible, which ultimately improves quality of life. Join us to make a meaningful impact while helping build a faster, more accessible future for sleep apnea care.

The Role

As a Sleep Care Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in helping patients move from interest to action. This is a sales position with an element of customer service. You will engage with prospective patients who express interest in Daybreak’s sleep apnea testing or treatment. Patients come to Daybreak when they identify difficulties with sleep or submit insurance information for treatment. Your goal is to help them take the next step by purchasing a diagnostic home sleep test or submitting an existing sleep study for a medical review. This is a fast-paced, conversion-driven role where success is measured by your ability to engage leads, overcome barriers, drive conversion, and consistently meet performance targets. Our team handles approximately 3,500–4,000 patient leads per month, requiring a strong sense of urgency, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to manage a high volume of conversations without sacrificing the patient experience. You’ll own the patient engagement process from initial outreach through the next required step, using phone calls, emails, and SMS to move patients through the funnel. You’ll be expected to identify opportunities, address objections, communicate value, and motivate patients to take action to protect and improve their health. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, flexible, and is motivated by the opportunity to combine sales performance with meaningful patient impact.

What You’ll Do

Drive Conversion

  • Engage prospective patients through phone, email, and SMS to convert inbound leads into completed sleep test purchases or submissions of existing sleep study results.

  • Own outreach and follow-up strategies that move patients through the funnel and minimize drop-off.

  • Communicate the value of Daybreak’s sleep testing and treatment pathway, address questions and objections, and create a clear path to the next step.

  • Consistently work toward conversion goals and other key performance indicators, with a focus on driving measurable results.

Manage a High-Volume Pipeline

  • Manage patient leads and interactions while maintaining urgency, organization, and consistent follow-through in Salesforce.

  • Prioritize outreach based on lead status, engagement, and likelihood of conversion.

  • Maintain a disciplined approach to follow-ups to re-engage unresponsive leads and recover opportunities that might otherwise be lost.

  • Balance speed and productivity with accurate documentation and a high-quality patient experience.

Own Performance Metrics

  • Track individual performance against key metrics, including outreach activity, lead engagement, conversion rates, and completion rates.

  • Analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust outreach strategies accordingly.

  • Take accountability for performance, actively seek feedback, and continuously refine your approach to achieve and exceed targets.

Deliver a Patient-First Sales Experience

  • Build trust with prospective patients by communicating clearly, empathetically, and confidently.

  • Help patients understand the steps required to move forward in their care journey, including purchasing a sleep test or submitting a valid existing sleep study.

  • Identify and resolve barriers that prevent patients from progressing, escalating clinical or operational questions to the appropriate teams when needed.

Improve Processes and Collaborate

  • Partner with Clinical, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other internal teams to improve messaging, workflows, and conversion strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and lead status in our CRM and patient management systems.

  • Share feedback and insights from patient conversations to help improve the overall funnel and patient journey.
