Social Listening Specialist (Media Reputation)

To support our growing production capacity, we are hiring an Social Listening Specialist for our offices in Makati City and Cebu, Philippines. Come and Join a growing and dynamic Group of Digital Communication Agencies located in both great cities in the Philippines - Makati & Cebu Office Location: Exportbank Plaza Condominium, Makati City Reporting to: Lead Media Reputation Specialist Individual contributor Social Listening Specialist Responsibilities Monitor dashboards and alerts to ensure that no relevant activity is missed, and perform ad hoc verification searches when necessary. Review the automated daily email reports on Saturdays and Sundays. When required, launch dedicated monitoring queries in the event of a potential crisis during these coverage periods. A clear escalation process is in place: only minor incidents are handled independently by the analyst, while any event assessed as more serious is escalated to and managed by the French team. Monitor online news and social media conversations about the client, its competitors, and the industry, Proactively monitor emerging trends, conversations, risks and signals that could impact the business. Proactively monitor, analyze, and report on competitive intelligence, product and marketing trends, reputational risks, online attacks, coordinated campaigns, and country-specific developments requiring early visibility. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, At least 1 to 2 years of experience in media monitoring, reputation management, or public relations, Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal, Proven experience using media monitoring platforms such as Talkwater, Visibrain, Meltwater or Radarly. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret diverse information from multiple sources, Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and actionable insights, Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, Basic knowledge of AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, to enhance productivity and streamline tasks, Basic knowledge of collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Slack, Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, Demonstrates accountability by taking ownership of actions, decisions, and outcomes, Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality results, Demonstrates initiative and proactivity. Work set-up and working hours: Night shift (7:00 PM – 8:00 AM CET/France time). Weekends. French public holidays.
