Social Media & Content Creator

About the Role

We are a new beverage brand launching a sparkling, zero-added-sugar drink, and we are looking for a Social Media & Content Creator to build our social presence from launch. This person will create the content and run our channels day to day, from shooting and editing short-form video to managing the posting calendar, engaging with our community, and coordinating with local creators.

Our messaging leads with taste and refreshment first, health benefits (zero sugar, natural hydration) second, and ingredient sourcing and traceability third. Strategy and paid advertising sit with the CEO at this stage, but the role has room to grow into both.

Work Structure & Requirements

Schedule: Part-time initially, moving to full-time
Location: Remote, Manila-based preferred, with a weekly in-person meeting in Manila where the candidate's location allows
Timezone: Philippine Time (PHT)
Reports To: Founder & CEO
Compensation: 8 USD per hour

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation
Plan, shoot, edit, and write content, including short-form video, photography, and captions
Create content across product, lifestyle, events, and behind-the-scenes
Capture content at launches, tastings, and partner venues
Channel Management
Run the posting calendar and publish across the brand's social channels (Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook)
Apply the brand guidelines and approved product claims consistently across all content
Ensure no health or functional claims are published without CEO sign-off
Community & Creator Engagement
Reply to comments and messages within agreed response times
Flag complaints or issues to the CEO
Coordinate product gifting and collaborations with local creators
Reporting
Deliver a short monthly report on reach, engagement, and follower growth, highlighting what worked and what to change

Required Skills & Experience

Portfolio (Required): A portfolio of content the candidate created themselves
Experience: 2+ years creating content for a brand, ideally in food & beverage or lifestyle
Video & Design: Shoots and edits short-form video to a high standard using CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
Communication: Strong written English and Filipino/Taglish
Social Media: Current knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook trends in the Philippines
Paid Social: Basic Meta or TikTok Ads experience is a plus
Marketplaces: Experience creating Shopee or Lazada store content is a plus!
