Social Media Coordinator

Role Description The Social Media Coordinator role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The coordinator will plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content across key platforms to promote DU 7 AU 12 FÉVRIER 2023 Meilleur Sommelier du Monde Concours ASI Paris 2023 and related activities. Responsibilities include managing daily posting calendars, monitoring channels for engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and ensuring brand consistency in tone and visuals. The role involves collaborating with event organizers and partners to gather updates, images, and stories, adapting them into compelling posts, stories, and short videos. The coordinator will also track performance metrics, prepare simple analytics reports, and recommend adjustments to improve reach, engagement, and audience growth.
Qualifications

• Ability to manage social media content creation and social media marketing across multiple platforms.
• Strong communication and writing skills for clear, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging.
• Understanding of digital marketing principles and how social media contributes to broader campaign goals.
• Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar).
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced event environment.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup, collaborating with on-site teams in Dubai while managing tasks remotely as needed.
• Prior experience in events, hospitality, or luxury brands is an advantage; familiarity with wine or sommelier culture is a plus.
