The Opportunity Location: Remote Experience: 6+ months Role: Contract Key Responsibilities The Social Media Executive will be responsible for the real-time execution and strategic growth of our motorsports social media presence, covering NASCAR and IndyCar. Content Management & Execution: Help manage and execute content strategies for motorsports social media accounts (e.g., X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Real-Time Coverage: Analyze breaking news, validate information, and execute real-time content delivery and updates across all platforms, ensuring immediate response to major events, races, and developments in the motorsports world. Content Creation: Write compelling, on-brand text and captions (copywriting) for various social networks to maximize engagement and virality. Strategic Planning: Plan, develop, and produce regular content buckets and series, aligning social output with overarching editorial goals. Traffic Generation: Actively work to grow the company's website traffic and brand presence through highly engaging motorsports content distributed on social media. Coordination & Compliance: Coordinate seamlessly with the editorial and design teams to ensure no critical content is missed and all posts adhere strictly to company guidelines and voice. Competitive Analysis: Continuously analyze competitor strategies, media trends, and platform algorithms to identify new growth opportunities. Requirements Proven Social Media Experience: MUST HAVE demonstrated professional experience working in a Social Media Management or similar content/community role. Copywriting Expertise: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in high-impact caption writing and compelling copywriting for fast-paced social media environments. Advanced level of English (Written and Spoken) with excellent spelling and writing proficiency. Thorough understanding of current social media platforms, trends, and analytics. Basic knowledge of digital marketing and SEO principles as they relate to social traffic. Reliable personal computer setup with consistent, high-speed internet access is required for remote work. Sports Knowledge Expert Sports Knowledge: MUST HAVE EXPERT KNOWLEDGE of NASCAR, Formula 1, and/or IndyCar. Applicants without prior knowledge or familiarity with these series will not be considered. Ability to quickly adapt and execute content for diverse motorsport fan bases. Important Requirement: This position is exclusively for candidates with in-depth knowledge of NASCAR, Formula 1, and/or IndyCar.
