Position Summary:

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced social media user who is tech savvy, with relevant experience in the legal field. Strong preference will be given to anyone who has experience with social media investigations, open source searching and/or experience with the legal discovery process. Additionally, this position can help you qualify to become a licensed Private Investigator; if you are not one already, and if that is something that you’re interested in pursuing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finding and verifying social media accounts.
  • Reviewing content from social media accounts.
  • Performing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)/Deep Internet Searching.
  • Quickly analyzing the information located.
  • Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience (i.e., working as an investigator, a paralegal or law clerk, an investigative reporter, law enforcement, etc.) is preferred.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, and with a current private investigator’s license and/or certifications in Social Media/Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) may be considered.
  • Must be tech savvy and a regular user on multiple social media platforms.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and collaborating with team members.
