Social Media Intern

Remote · 5–20 hours/week · Start whenever
Run social for a real startup. Learn stuff no class will teach you.
About the role
Loopfour builds AI-powered automation for finance teams. We're good at the product. We want to be everywhere on social — and that's where you come in.
You'll create and post content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, working directly with our marketing team. Not fetching coffee, not "shadowing" — actually making things and shipping them. You'll learn how a startup finds its voice, what makes content perform, and how to turn scrolling into an audience.
One of the fun parts: you'll help produce our podcast. We've interviewed
Eric Ries
, the New York Times bestselling author of
The Lean Startup
. We've sat down with
Qasar Younis
, who built a billion-dollar startup after Y Combinator. We've talked
the future of startups, crypto, and AI
with Prasanna Sankar, co-founder of Rippling — and we've had many more founders and creators on the show. You'll help us prep for episodes (guest research, pulling questions together) and then turn those conversations into clips people actually watch.
You'll also get a front-row seat to PR. You'll work with us on press — learning how reporters think, what makes a story pitchable, and how to write for blogs and media. Most people don't learn this until years into their career. You'll pick it up at a startup that's actually doing it.
It's fully remote and fits around your life — anywhere from 5 to 20 hours a week, whatever works with your classes, job, or summer plans. Applications are rolling, so you can start whenever.
If you get social media and you're willing to work hard, we want to hear from you.
What you'll actually do
Make and schedule content for our channels — posts, clips, threads, all of it
Help produce our podcast: research guests, prep questions, and get us ready for recordings
Cut podcast episodes into clips and moments that travel across platforms
Work with us on PR — learn how reporters and press coverage actually work
Write: blog posts, press materials, and copy that tells our story
Pitch ideas to the marketing team and turn the good ones into real posts
Jump into replies and comments and build our community
Watch the numbers, figure out what's hitting, do more of that
See how a startup actually works from the inside
Who we're looking for
In college, done with college, or skipped it entirely — we care about drive, not diplomas
Extremely online, in a good way — you know what performs and why before the trend piece gets written
Hungry to learn and not afraid of doing the work
Someone who takes an idea and runs instead of waiting to be told
Can write a sentence that makes people stop scrolling
Bonus points (not required)
You can edit video (CapCut, Premiere, whatever you use)
Photography or design skills
You've messed around with AI tools for making content
You've grown an account of your own — even a meme page counts. Optional, but we'd love to see it
Sound like you?
Fill out the application with your resume (or whatever you've got) and a short note on why you want this. A real note — we can tell when it's AI-written, and we read every single one.
