Social Media Manager – Remote

COLAB is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who understands how strategy, creative, copy, graphics, and video work together to tell a compelling brand story. The ideal candidate will have strong social media experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage creative teams and projects from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client goals and brand objectives
• Plan and oversee social media content, ensuring captions, graphics, videos, and other creative assets work together to communicate a clear story
• Develop content calendars, campaigns, and creative concepts across relevant social platforms
• Provide creative direction and ensure content maintains consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging
• Review and approve social media copy, graphics, videos, and other creative deliverables before publishing
• Manage and coordinate social media, content, design, and video teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, priorities, and dependencies across client accounts
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand objectives and translate them into effective social strategies
• Monitor social media performance and use insights to improve content and overall strategy
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, content formats, and audience behavior
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach, brand awareness, and overall social performance
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in social media management, social media strategy, or a related role
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, storytelling, and audience engagement
• Experience bringing together copy, graphics, photography, and video to create cohesive social campaigns
• Experience in a Creative Director, Social Media Strategist, Content Strategist, or similar role is a strong advantage
• Proven experience managing creative or social media teams
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong understanding of major social platforms and their respective content formats
• Experience working in a marketing or creative agency is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide constructive creative feedback
