About Us In 2007, Suzy Bátiz created Poo~Pourri, a natural, effective solution to a universal problem: sh*t happens... and it stinks. Since then, Poo~Pourri has rapidly grown to become way more than just an odor-eliminating product. As the brand evolved, Poo~Pourri became ~Pourri, reflecting a broader vision and a growing portfolio of products designed to help people live more freely and confidently. ~Pourri has taken a shift, a shift in bathroom routine, a shift in how things "should" be done, and a shift in company culture. We're a company of fast-paced rule-breakers on a mission to find new paths to personal freedom. Our brand redefines how the world thinks, and talks, about taboos. In a world full of rules, playing it safe, and "that can't be done," ~Pourri doesn't subscribe to that crap. We dream differently. Want to come play with us? About the role This is not a traditional Social Media Manager role. It is a blend of creative leadership and social strategy, and you will own both the thinking and the doing. You are the person in charge of all execution across Suzy's channels, including her personal channels and her podcast channels. You will own what she posts, why she posts it, and how it ladders into the broader marketing strategy. This goes well beyond briefing, posting, and scheduling. You will guide the narrative, the cadence, and the learnings, and build a real content engine inside a multi brand media ecosystem that spans lifestyle commerce, music, spiritual programming, and founder led content. You will work closely with the Founder, her producer team, and outside partners to make content that is not just funny or educational, but intentional, consistent, and scalable. What you’ll own (aka the sh*t you’ll run with) Own the organic content strategy for Suzy across her personal and podcast channels, with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. Own day to day execution end to end: publishing, distribution, and real time pivots when the internet does its thing. Build a scalable content engine that is audience informed, performance tracked, and tightly integrated with brand, product, and growth goals. Develop and maintain a repeatable content system: formats, series, segments, and "show" frameworks that scale. Own the daily, weekly, and monthly content cadence, including the calendar and scheduling across every channel. Drive creative and brand strategy for Suzy's social presence, and help build and protect her visual identity. Design YouTube thumbnails, social graphics, key art, episode art, and campaign assets. This is the hands on, high volume part of the job. Support shoot days: props, light set decorating, wardrobe color, and direct assistance to the Founder. Capture content yourself. Film behind the scenes and in person content at events, on filming days, and at other planned shoots to feed the founder channels. Partner with the producer on social specific edits and channel variants. Track trends and make the call on what is worth adapting and what we skip. Provide clear creative direction that carries across organic and paid media integrations. Own social KPI creation and reporting. Monitor insights and tell us what is working, what is not, and what we are doing next because of it. Engage the community by monitoring and responding to comments and DMs, keeping Suzy's voice smart, funny, and human. Watch for culture moments where the brand can naturally join the conversation. Work with marketing and founder lead team members to guide content creation and overall marketing strategy. Develop content concepts, recurring series, and scalable content frameworks that strengthen founder-led storytelling and brand awareness. Audit, organize, and operationalize existing content libraries to create efficient publishing workflows and maximize content utilization. Translate platform performance, audience insights, and social trends into actionable creative recommendations and content strategy. Provide strategic leadership on social media initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for growth, experimentation, and audience engagement. QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE (What we’re looking for) 3+ years of proven experience in media production, social content, or relative creative project management or production experience. Proficiency in task/project management software. Experience building and managing social media strategy and content for a founder, executive, creator, influencer, or founder-led brand. Experience working with consumer products, lifestyle brands, creator brands, DTC brands, or high-growth challenger brands. Experience in strategic communications and working cross-functionally with different teams and audiences. Proven ability to develop content ideas, series, and creative recommendations based on audience insights and platform performance. Experience building or improving social media processes, content calendars, workflows, or reporting systems. Strong portfolio required. Must clearly demonstrate your specific contributions to social strategy, content development, creative direction, content execution, audience growth, and measurable campaign results. Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Figma, are the bare-minimum tools you’ll need to know Working knowledge of what a podcast or episodic show needs graphically, think lower thirds, name cards, segment titles, overlays, bumpers, and how those assets get built so an editor can actually use them. Demonstrated social media literacy: you know how these platforms function and what best practices actually are, not in theory. Organized and presentation-minded, you are comfortable in a program like Asana, Pitch, Google Docs, Sheets, and/or Slides. Can turn around quick deadlines, but also speak up to set realistic expectations. Takes feedback well and iterates without friction. And last, but certainly not least, a fun personality! This is a small team that has constant face time, so we’re gonna want to enjoy our time! Bonus points if you have… (That extra somethin’) Work running social media for a podcast Experience working directly with a founder or CEO A great eye for creative and storytelling Visual design skills After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve Hands-on social strategy experience (a significant plus, knowing when, how, why, and whether to release something is worth as much to us as the idea itself) Equal Employment Opportunity ~Pourri is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law. ~Pourri is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
