Is this job info correct?
We are hiring a part-time, remote social media marketing manager and content creator who has worked in selling software before and can turn a great desktop/mobile app into steady sales.
What you'll do
Strategy and planning
- Build and run a monthly content calendar across YouTube (long-form and Shorts), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and Reddit.
- Turn our core message, "Private AI, pay once", into hooks for each audience: privacy fans, hobby photographers, families and small studios.
- Plan launches and seasonal pushes, such as Product Hunt and Black Friday.
Content creation
- Script, record and edit short product demos, before-and-after clips, tutorials and comparison videos.
- Make faceless screen-recorded videos using our demo photo library.
- Design graphics, carousels and thumbnails, and write captions, posts and short blog teasers.
Community and outreach
- Join photography, privacy and Windows communities as a helpful member, not a spammer, and follow each forum's rules.
- Reply to comments and messages, and pass bugs and feature requests to the founder.
- Find and contact YouTubers, bloggers and reviewers for honest reviews and affiliate deals.
Sales and growth
- Drive free-trial downloads and turn trial users into buyers.
- Run small paid tests (boosted posts, creator sponsorships) within a set monthly budget.
- Track every campaign with our referral links and codes, and report what each one brings in.
Reporting
- Send a short weekly update: what you posted, reach, clicks, trials, sales and next week's plan.
- Fill a one-row weekly scorecard so we can see trends.
What we're looking for
You must have marketed and sold software before, and be able to show the numbers.
- 2+ years in social media marketing, with at least one software, app or SaaS product you helped sell.
- Proof of results: links to accounts, videos or campaigns you ran, with real figures (followers grown, clicks, sign-ups or sales).
- Strong short-form video skills: you can script, record your screen, edit and caption a 30–60 second demo on your own.
- Clear, natural English writing for US, UK and Australian audiences.
- A feel for the funnel: you know how to move people from a post to a free trial to a sale.
- Honest marketing: no fake reviews, bought followers, spam or false urgency.
Self-managed: you plan your own week, hit deadlines and report without being chased.
