Build Work That People Talk About.

At Sundae Creative, we craft the brand narratives, campaigns, conversations, and experiences that shape culture.

We’re a team of strategists, storytellers, publicists, influencer marketers, event producers, social thinkers, and creatives who believe the best ideas come from curious people who aren’t afraid to challenge convention.

As one of Canada’s fastest-growing brand communications agencies, we partner with leading brands across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, wellness, and consumer sectors. From public relations and influencer marketing to social storytelling, events, and experiential, our teams work across disciplines to create culturally relevant, insight-driven work that earns attention and drives influence.

With offices in Montreal and Toronto, Sundae Creative is ambitious, collaborative, and independently led. As part of the Dulcedo Group, we also benefit from shared expertise, resources, and opportunities that give our teams even more room to grow and do exceptional work.

We move fast, think big, and value curiosity over ego, initiative over titles, and people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

At Sundae, we believe growth comes from experience, not just observation.

What You’ll Own as a Social Media Specialist

  • Lead your client relationships. Own day-to-day client communication, lead meetings, present ideas and strategic recommendations, navigate feedback, and confidently articulate and defend the thinking behind your work. You’ll act as a trusted partner to your clients without relying on someone more senior to lead the conversation.
  • Develop and execute social strategies. Build social strategies for your assigned accounts and translate them into clear platform priorities, content opportunities, campaigns, and recommendations grounded in brand objectives, audience behaviour, and culture.

  • Create content that feels native. Take ideas from concept to execution, including developing concepts, shooting content, editing short-form video, and creating social-first assets designed for the platforms they live on.

  • Know the platforms inside out. Bring a deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging platforms, including algorithms, audience behaviours, formats, performance signals, and what makes content work differently across each one.

  • Bring ideas before you’re asked. Proactively identify opportunities within existing client mandates, challenge current approaches, and consistently recommend ways to make the work stronger, more relevant, and more effective.

  • Own your accounts from planning to delivery. Manage editorial calendars, timelines, approvals, deliverables, and day-to-day workflows across multiple accounts, ensuring work stays organized, polished, and moving forward.

  • Turn performance into action. Analyze social performance, identify meaningful insights, and translate learnings into clear recommendations for what to continue, change, test, or do differently.

  • A Few Things We Look For

  • Experience: You bring 3-5 years of relevant social media experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment, with experience independently managing accounts from strategy through execution.

  • Client-Facing Experience: You’re confident leading client meetings, presenting and defending strategic recommendations, navigating feedback, and building trusted relationships without relying on someone more senior to manage the conversation.

  • Strategic & Creative Thinking: You can develop thoughtful social strategies while also bringing strong creative instincts, moving comfortably between strategic thinking, ideation, content planning, and execution.

  • Content Creation: You have hands-on experience developing concepts, shooting social content, editing short-form video, and creating platform-native assets. You don’t need to be a production specialist, but you understand the creative process because you’ve done it yourself.

  • Organization & Autonomy: You’re highly organized, proactive, and comfortable independently managing multiple accounts, competing priorities, timelines, approvals, and deliverables while knowing when to bring others into the conversation.

  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both English and French is required, including the ability to confidently lead client conversations and create or review social content in both languages.

  • Education: A degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, or a related field is an asset, but we’re equally interested in candidates with strong relevant experience and demonstrated social expertise.

  • Compensation Philosophy

At Sundae Creative, we believe compensation should be transparent, competitive, and reflective of impact.

Every role is supported by clearly defined salary bands based on market benchmarks, internal equity, and the scope of the position. As your responsibilities grow and your impact expands, your compensation should grow alongside them.

We invest in our people through ongoing coaching, meaningful performance conversations, and clearly defined career paths because long-term growth shouldn't happen by accident.

Perks That Support Your Best Work

We believe great work starts with feeling supported—in your career and in your life. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Flexible Time Off: After your first year, you’ll have access to unlimited paid vacation, grounded in trust, accountability, and alignment with your team. During your first year, vacation is accrued based on an annual two-week entitlement.

Early Fridays: Get a head start on your weekend with year-round summer hours—our workday wraps up at 2 p.m. every Friday.

Holiday Closure: Our offices close between Christmas and New Year’s, giving everyone dedicated time to fully unplug, recharge, and enjoy the holidays.

Comprehensive Benefits: After your first month, you’ll have access to medical, dental, and vision coverage designed to support you and your loved ones.
