Social Media Specialist (French Speaking)

THIS IS OUR MISSION, OUR MOVEMENT, OUR STORY. Your Role You will own and grow our companys presence on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will lead the French channels (and help run our German-speaking channels). You will set the plan, create/help with content, grow the community, and report results. Additionally, you proofread our French webpages. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning (together with founders) Define a clear, channel-specific plan for France and Switzerland (French-speaking): audience, messages, formats, and goals. Build a monthly content calendar tied to campaigns, product launches, and awareness days. Set test plans (creative, hooks, CTAs) and a roadmap for growth. Content Creation & Publishing Support film, and edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) provided by the French speaking Co-CEO of the company Produce carousels, posts, stories, and community polls using Canva/CapCut. Localise and repurpose content across French-speaking channels. Community Engagement & Customer Care Respond with empathy to DMs and comments; escalate to founders if critical. Performance Tracking & Optimisation (based on discussed templates) Track KPIs by channel (growth, engagement, retention, leads) Report weekly in sheets. Must-Have Qualifications & Skills Native French speaker. Fluent in English or German. 5+ years of experience in social media. Strong understanding of the social media platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn). Open to learn Canva and CapCut. Interest in menopause and womens health. Clear, concise writing; spotless spelling in French. Weekly reporting in Excel Nice to Have Qualifications & Skills Female and 40+ years old (a plus, not a requirement). Basic SEO and YouTube metadata best practices. Experience in health-tech, femtech, or womens wellbeing. Personal Attributes Bias for action: you ship, learn, and iterate (Start-up mentality). Uncomplicated growth mindset: open to feedback and new ideas. Data curiosity: you test and let the numbers guide you. Low-ego team player; clear communicator.
