PMI is looking for a Social Media Specialist II who will be accountable for the efficient development and execution of social media campaigns and larger-scale initiatives. Works with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to support the planning and execution of the overall social media strategy, develop campaign briefs, support social media initiatives for partnerships and integrated marketing efforts, and execute tactical activities that drive engagement and contribute to broader business objectives. Responsible for interacting with and reviewing work produced by assigned external vendors. What you’ll bring to the role: Support the development and delivery of the organic social media strategy, as part of the larger omni-channel strategies and tactics. Create effective social media content aligned with PMI's brand standards through impactful writing, attention-grabbing visuals, and short-form video. Serve as the subject matter expert across key social media platforms, executing campaigns while applying platform best practices and sense-and-respond strategies to drive audience engagement. Implement appropriate measurement/testing plans and identify opportunities to improve social program/campaign analysis and reporting efficiencies. Manage and assess weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for organic social activities that offer data-driven and actionable recommendations to drive key business objectives. Measure the quantitative and business impact of organic social media campaigns and apply sound knowledge, experience, and judgment to optimize results. Understand the impact/implications of key issues/events within the marketing segments and other supported functional business areas. Partner to attract and interact with target customer segments and engage influencers to reach broader audiences. Role Qualifications: BA in marketing, public relations, communications or related field. 5-7 years of experience in marketing, social media management, brand management or related degree . Experience working with and managing agencies, especially with limited supervision. Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment. Strong understanding of how to represent the organization’s priorities and initiatives across a variety of communication channels. Stay up-to-date on latest customer behavior and industry trends. Analytical thinker with experience in qualitative and qualitative analytics. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively across teams and stakeholders. Strong ability to think creatively. Confident using Canva and other social-first creative tools to produce creative assets. Experienced using AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining accountability for the quality and accuracy of final outputs. Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English). Up to 25% travel.
