Social Media & Marketing Executive - Part-Time (Contract) / Remote
Company Description
StratValley Canada is a strategy-first marketing consultancy that helps businesses gain clarity, build stronger brands, and create marketing systems that deliver measurable results.
With experience across Fortune 500 companies, agencies, tech startups, retail media, and high-growth brands, StratValley provides expertise in brand strategy, marketing planning, digital advertising, go-to-market strategy, content strategy, and performance-driven execution.
We work with startups, small businesses, CPG brands, retailers, agencies, creators, entrepreneurs, and early-stage digital ventures looking for structure, clarity, and growth. Our portfolio also includes work across social discovery, community-led platforms, consulting, business growth, and other digital projects.
Our approach is simple: strategy first, execution with clarity, and content that both looks compelling and performs effectively.
Role Description
We are looking for a creative, self-driven Social Media & Visual Content Manager to support StratValley Canada and a portfolio of growing digital projects and client accounts.
This is a part-time remote role for someone who can take ownership of social media, visual content creation, and day-to-day content execution across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
The ideal candidate is not just a social media manager, but someone with a strong eye for visual design, content storytelling, short-form video, social trends, and brand consistency. You should be comfortable creating content from ideas, turning strategy into visuals, and using AI tools to improve speed, quality, and output.
This role is currently part-time (contractual), with the potential to become full-time in the future as the portfolio grows. While the role is remote and timings are flexible, the selected candidate will be expected to be available 2-3 times per week for check-ins during EST / Canadian business hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, create, and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
• Develop monthly and weekly content calendars across multiple brands/projects
• Create visually appealing posts, reels, carousels, stories, graphics, and short-form video concepts
• Write social media captions, hooks, post copy, and basic campaign messaging
• Maintain a consistent visual identity and brand tone across different accounts
• Support social media growth through content ideas, engagement tactics, trend research, and platform optimization
• Use AI tools for content ideation, captions, creative direction, design support, video concepts, and workflow efficiency
• Design content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
• Repurpose long-form ideas, business insights, and brand messaging into social-first content
• Support community management by responding to comments, messages, and audience interactions professionally
• Track social media performance, review analytics, and suggest improvements based on engagement and reach
• Stay updated on social trends, reels, hooks, storytelling formats, design styles, and platform changes
• Collaborate with the founder, internal teams, and select clients to align content with brand positioning and business goals
• Participate in 2-3 weekly check-ins during EST / Canadian business hours
• Manage multiple projects in a remote environment with strong attention to detail and organization
Qualifications
• 3–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or visual design
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and social media growth strategies
• Strong visual design sense with the ability to create clean, modern, and engaging content
• Experience creating posts, reels, carousels, graphics, and short-form video content
• Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, social copy, and brand messaging
• Comfortable using AI tools for content creation, research, design, captions, and productivity
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design/video tools
• Experience managing content calendars, scheduling tools, and analytics dashboards
• Ability to interpret basic performance metrics and turn insights into content improvements
• Self-starter who can work independently, bring ideas proactively, and take ownership
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with teams, clients, and partners
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple brands or projects at once
• Availability for 2 weekly check-ins during EST / Canadian business hours
• Previous experience in an agency, startup, consulting, brand management, or digital marketing environment is an asset
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, or a related field is an asset, but practical experience and portfolio quality matter most
Role Details
• Role Type: Part-time
• Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Location: Remote / work from home
• Timings: Flexible, with 2-3 weekly check-ins during EST / Canadian business hours
• Compensation: Up to PKR 60,000 - 75,000 per month, based on experience and portfolio
