Social Worker (Grade 8) - Harmful Sexual Behaviour Service (HSB) Salary: £33,945 - £43,421 per annum Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week Location: Countywide Position, Lancashire International Sponsorship: This role is not open to international sponsorship Make a Difference for Children and Families Across Lancashire Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service (CYJS) is looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our developing Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) Service . This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering specialist support for children, young people, families, and professionals across Lancashire. Working with children aged 8 to 18, you will become part of a growing HSB Hub that is enhancing support across CYJS, Children's Social Care, and Early Help Services. About the Role As a Social Worker within the HSB Service, you will: Work directly with children, young people, and their families to support positive change. Undertake consultations, assessments, and interventions relating to harmful sexual behaviour. Complete AIM3 assessments and contribute specialist expertise to multi-agency planning. Support professionals across CYJS, Children's Social Care, and Early Help through consultation and knowledge sharing. Help develop and strengthen Lancashire's HSB offer and contribute to the ongoing growth of the service. Champion child-first, restorative, and trauma-informed practice across all aspects of your work. What We're Looking For We're seeking a qualified Social Worker who: Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. Has experience of working effectively with families and partner agencies. Demonstrates strong assessment and intervention skills. Values collaborative and relationship-based practice. Is committed to strengths-based, restorative, and trauma-informed approaches. As this is a countywide role , there is an expectation that you will travel across Lancashire to meet service needs.
