Software Architect For our business partner , a leading international healthcare and diagnostics services provider, we are searching for an experienced, visionary, and highly skilled Software Architect to join their technology organization and drive system health, long‑term architectural strategy, and modern engineering practices across complex, distributed environments. Responsibilities Ensure system health — assess architecture, technology stack, performance, scalability, data integrity, and security Define long-term architecture strategy — build resilient, extensible, cloud‑native and AI‑enabled roadmaps Enable delivery agility — design modular architectures, APIs, event-driven patterns, and feature‑flag‑driven releases Evaluate readiness for scale — provide independent assessments for load growth and product evolution Mentor engineering teams — promote architectural thinking, modern engineering practices, and AI‑assisted development Track industry innovation — evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, automation) Create architectural standards — produce blueprints, principles, guidelines; validate concepts through prototypes Improve scalability & code quality — identify complexity risks and lead refactoring, modularization, and DDD initiatives Experience & Profile At least 3 years as a Software Architect or Senior technical leader and 5+ years as a Software Engineer, contributing to large, distributed, high‑performance systems in Agile , distributed teams Strong software architecture expertise : microservices, modular monolith, event‑driven systems, distributed systems, scalability, high availability Cloud experience (preferably Azure) and cloud‑native architectures ; solid data architecture (relational, NoSQL, streaming, data pipelines) Strong API design & integration skills and a solid understanding of security principles (authentication, authorization, data protection) Familiarity with DevOps practices : CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), observability Strong focus on code quality, refactoring, and technical debt management ; experience driving modularization and maintainability Ability to review and challenge designs and implementations ; hands‑on prototyping to validate solutions Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) and experience integrating AI‑enabled services into enterprise systems Understanding of AI data pipelines, data preparation , and awareness of AI governance, ethics, security, and compliance Advanced English (written and spoken) Flexible, organized, proactive , able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines Strong time management , ownership, and partnership mindset , with commitment to high‑quality delivery Department IT&C | Leadership & Management Role Software Architect Locations Bucharest Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time About Evolve Today This text can be a short description about your company.
