Software Architect (.Net & Angular)

Our partner is an international technology-driven organization strengthening its internal engineering capabilities to support business-critical systems and long-term digital transformation initiatives. Their teams are focused on improving operational excellence, platform reliability, and engineering ownership across a complex global technology landscape.

As part of this journey, they are looking for an experienced Software Architect (.Net & Angular) to define and guide the architecture of business-critical internal platforms. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, establishing architectural principles and standards, and supporting engineering teams throughout the full software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to the design of applications, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud environments, and production systems while ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and long-term technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical direction, architecture, and engineering quality of the assigned product group.
  
• Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, work breakdown, implementation planning, and technical sequencing.
  
• Remain actively involved in development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and resolving complex production issues.
  
• Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Engineering Managers to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  
• Provide technical estimates, implementation options, dependency analysis, and delivery risk assessments.
  
• Identify technical debt, architectural weaknesses, and critical system risks, and develop pragmatic modernization or stabilization plans.
  
• Support and mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and hands-on problem-solving.
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience (in .Net and Angular technology-stack) and at least 3 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Software Architect
  
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, API design, integration patterns, data modeling, scalability, maintainability, and secure system design.
  
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting business-critical software systems in production.
  
• Experience breaking down complex technical initiatives, improving legacy systems, and reducing technical debt.
  
• Practical knowledge of code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, release readiness, and technical documentation.
  
• Strong English communication skills, an ownership mindset, and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
