Role Description The Software Associate Developer will work in a full-time, remote capacity, collaborating with the technical team to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. Typical responsibilities include implementing back-end functionality, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and contributing to code reviews. The role also involves working with senior developers to refine requirements, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards. The Software Associate Developer will be expected to document work clearly, participate in agile ceremonies, and continuously enhance skills through research and experimentation with new tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, with exposure to server-side frameworks, APIs, and database integration.
- Practical understanding of Software Development lifecycles, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, testing frameworks, or DevOps tools is a plus.
