Software Consultant

Synergi Life software is designed to help organisations effectively manage enterprise risk, incidents, quality and operational excellence initiatives. Synergi Life is one of the leading software suits for managing risks related to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment in the world. Synergi Life is used by more than 750.000 users and provides over 350 companies worldwide with an overview of and tools to manage enterprise risk. Synergi Life consists of several modules, can be customized to the needs of the customers, and is delivered primarily as a SaaS solution.

Currently we are looking for a Software Solution Consultant to strengthen our QHSE Customer Configuration team.

The role will be based in the Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and will report to the Head of Section Global QHSE Customer Configuration and may involve travel to customer sites within the regions supported. Travel will be occasional only.

In this role you will actively work with external customers, configure and implement, but also give advice and guidance related to the Synergi Life software and best practices in line with customers’ requirements.

Business Advisory

• Attend workshops/meetings in order to gather customer requirements and then prepare appropriate specification documents and scopes of work

• Advise external customers best practice so that they get the best possible ROI on their Synergi Life system

• Identify opportunities to add value to customer’s implementations

• Identify sales opportunities with existing customers

• Assist during presales process, demo the product

Project delivery:

• Configure Synergi Life application that meets requirements agreed with the customer

• Testing the installation and configuration you have performed as well as testing the work performed by other consultants

• Act as a Project manager for smaller implementation and configuration projects

Competences Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

• Excellent command of English language both written and verbal

• Knowledge of Bahasa or any other regional language will be an advantage

• Programming language experience

  • MS SQL - required high level of knowledge

  • Powershell/Python /C#/.Net - will be an advantage

• Good experience of relational databases (SQL Server)

• Knowledge of Windows Server / Web technologies - will be an advantage

• Good knowledge of Synergi life system including database structure is an advantage

• HSEQ or Risk domain knowledge is an advantage

• Previous working experience in energy sector is an advantage

• Knowledge about Microsoft Azure cloud based services
