We are seeking a talented Software Developer with a focus on backend development (70%) and frontend tasks (30%). The role involves working with a variety of programming languages and technologies to develop and maintain innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using one of the core programming languages such as Java, Ruby on Rails, or Golang.
• Implement frontend components using JavaScript.
• Contribute to full-stack development projects.
• Utilize AWS, Terraform, and Ansible for cloud and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the core backend languages: Golang, Java, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with JavaScript for frontend development.
• Full-stack development capabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
