Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Developer to support the development, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of our modern software applications. Working alongside senior technical leads, you will contribute directly to building responsive user interfaces, integrating backend APIs, and supporting scalable cloud-native architectures.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across our modern tech stack—including React, Next.js, Microsoft Azure, MongoDB, PostgresDB, and AI integrations—while adhering to established software engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding standards.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Full-Stack Application Development: Build, test, and maintain responsive web interfaces and application features using modern front-end frameworks including Next.js/Modern.js, React, and MUI.
- API & Database Implementation: Assist in building and maintaining secure API endpoints using OpenAPI specifications and Better Auth, and perform standard data management tasks across PostgresDB and MongoDB databases.
- Cloud & Platform Operations: Support the deployment and monitoring of application environments hosted on Microsoft Azure, Container App Environments, and Databricks under supervision.
- AI & Continuous Integration Workflows: Assist in integrating AI/LLM capability workflows (such as Claude and Gemini) into existing services, utilizing Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and automated deployments.
- Testing & Technical Support: Perform unit and integration testing, troubleshoot technical bugs, write maintainable documentation, and participate constructively in team peer code reviews.
- Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with lead developers and project teams to deliver assigned development tasks on schedule, communicating technical progress and challenges effectively.
- Carry out other duties commensurate with the grade and remit of the post.
