  • Ensure that all solutions comply with privacy, security, and regulatory standards (e.g., PHIPA), and advise on secure design practices
  • Drive process and system improvements, championing engineering best practices across the development team
  • Provide training and structured onboarding to team members and stakeholders to support solution adoption and long-term sustainability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience, including prior experience leading projects or mentoring other developers, ideally in healthcare or a similarly regulated environment
  • Advanced proficiency in web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React/Vue, and backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, .NET, or Django)

  • Solid working knowledge of data exchange standards including HL7, FHIR, REST, SOAP
  • Extensive experience with development tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Visual Studio Code, including CI/CD pipeline design
