Web Development Contributor (Learning Fellowship) Status: Unpaid Focus: Front-End Technologies (mostly React and JS) as a part of MERN stack Commitment: Flexible / Project-Based Location: Fully Remote Compensation: Unpaid volunteer collaborator This is a non-compensated learning contribution and is not classified as employment. This is a flexible, collaborative opportunity designed entirely to help you build a compelling, professional portfolio and master modern web development skills. What You Will Contribute & Learn: Real-World Features: Opportunity to practice implementing new features using modern Front-End (e.g., ReactJS, ES6+) and some Back-End technologies (e.g., Express.js, Node.js, MongoDB). Portfolio Piece: Gain a strong, verifiable project to showcase on your resume and portfolio. You will be able to fully list the extent of your contributions. Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, feature planning, and technical discussions with our core team. Best Practices: Learn modern Git workflows, testing methodologies, and architectural patterns. The Project Status: This project is currently managed as a voluntary and non-paid learning environment. Potential for Production Impact: Features developed as part of your educational goals may be integrated into the final application . Requirements: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git You want to learn or improve skills in React.js while contributing. Pre-existing experience is not required but some basic familiarity is helpful. Self-motivated and able to self-direct progress and communicate availability. If you are weak on any of the requirements, do not hesitate to apply nonetheless, as this is an opportunity for you to grow your skills.
