What we do is very unique with zero immediate competition in India today and therefore, building a team of Real Rockstars in their field to fuel this profit making start-up, which is growing at a rapid pace Summary: We are looking for someone who can own a pressing problem in E-Commerce Industry which is Return to Origin (RTO) engineering for us. Even though this role is backend but it's not limited to just backend, you can learn and work on frontend as well if you have a willingness to adapt and learn we will help you. Our RTO backend stack is currently written in Python & NodeJS. We love writing all sorts of tests (TDD, unit, functional and E2E) before shipping anything to production and we expect quality over quantity. Also, we believe in extreme ownership! You’ll spend time on the following: Hands-on development experience Infrastructure as code technologies (e.g. Terraform) Development in AWS, AWS Development Certification preferred. Experience with the following AWS Services; Cognito, Amazon Elastic Container Service, Lambda, S3, and Cloudfront Monitor and troubleshoot web applications and analytics Work closely with various teams to help develop new ways of showcasing internal and external web applications Work with custom APIs and other 3rd party data sources to create enhanced frontend experiences Contribute to the development of new features for our core automation tools Build and maintain a deep understanding of technologies and methods and how to instrument, monitor, and automate them. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience across teams to enable effective use of our tools and solutions. Participate in problem management by identifying and closing gaps in monitoring and workflows. We’re Excited About You If You Have: Development experience with Python/Node.js/Java Have helped develop custom-built object-oriented applications for a year. Great OO skills, including strong design patterns knowledge Strong web development experience. Knowledge of Web Services required like: JSON, SOAP, REST and XML based web services. Having knowledge of Google Cloud & Azure Serverless platforms will be a big plus.
