Job Description: Software Development Engineer in Test (Remote)
Job Summary
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. The SDET will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Execute automated tests and analyze test results
Identify and report defects and issues
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
Continuously improve the testing process and tools
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in software development and testing
Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.)
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Working Conditions
This is a remote position, and the SDET will work from their own location. The SDET will be required to work closely with the development team, and may need to attend meetings or collaborate with team members in different time zones.
