Job Description- Software Development Engineer (SD1/SD2) Role: Software Development Engineer Experience: 1–5 years (SD1 + SD2) Location: Bangalore / Hybrid Team: Product Engineering About the Role We are building world-class agentic AI applications, developer dashboards, and intelligent product experiences designed for IT and DevOps teams to deploy lean AI systems that streamline testing, monitoring, and compliance while significantly reducing costs and improving efficiency. As an SDE (SD1/SD2), you will contribute to building robust APIs, scalable backend services, and reliable infrastructure that powers our platform. This role suits engineers who want to grow quickly and work on modern product engineering + exposure to LLM agentic systems . Responsibilities Core Engineering Build, test, and maintain backend services and APIs Write clean, maintainable, efficient code Participate in LLD & HLD discussions Debug production issues and improve system reliability Implement observability, logging, and performance enhancements Collaborate with product, design, QA, and leadership Ownership & Delivery Break down requirements into tasks Deliver features end-to-end with minimal supervision Conduct and participate in thoughtful code reviews Mentor SD1/interns (SD2 expectation) 🧠 Required Skills Programming Strong in at least one backend language (Go/Node/Java/Python) Good Data Structures & Algorithms knowledge Solid understanding of OOP principles or functional design Backend Engineering Building REST APIs or microservices Strong understanding of SQL: joins, indexing, transactions Practical knowledge of caching (Redis), queues (Kafka/SQS/RabbitMQ) Comfortable with system design fundamentals (latency, throughput, scalability) Tooling & Infra Git + CI/CD Docker & Linux Cloud basics (AWS/GCP preferred) Good to Have (AI/LLM Experience) Understanding of LLMs or embeddings Worked with OpenAI / HuggingFace / local models Exposure to vector databases (PGVector / Qdrant / Pinecone) Awareness of RAG pipelines Built any side project using LLM APIs Understanding of agent workflows or LangChain This is not mandatory-strong backend engineers will be trained internally. ⭐ What Success Looks Like Deliver high-quality features with minimal bugs Show strong ownership of tasks & services Improve performance, readability, and code quality Grow rapidly from SD1 → SD2 → SD3 Contribute positively to engineering culture and decision-making 💼 Why Join Us?
